About Our Ukulele Lessons
Ukulele lessons are structured in a weekly 30 or 60 minute private lesson. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons are available including lessons for adults. We teach a variety of different styles such as classical, pop, rock, jazz, worship, or whatever style you fancy. We teach music theory, notation, rhythm as well as chord charts and lead sheets. Whatever it is you want to learn, we can get you there. Call or inquire today to get started.
Ukulele for Beginners
We love working with beginners. It gives us pride to shape a student in the ways of music whether it is a child, a teen or an adult. We use proven methods to help the student step their way up the ladder of playing ukulele on their way of achieving their desired goals. Our teachers are very patient and love to help students master all the foundational aspects of not only ukulele technique, but also rhythm, theory, and reading music. The students at The Music Connection start playing songs from day one while learning critical foundations. All this while building learning skills and self-esteem.
Ukulele for Experienced Students
Whether students come to us from another teacher, or whether they started with us as beginners, we work with them to achieve their next goal. We can continue down the same path they were on or go somewhere completely different. Intermediate or advanced students learn to play more challenging music while starting to work with advanced concepts. Whether students want to learn a new style, prepare for an audition, or just have fun playing, we have the skills, experience and teachers to get them there.
Ukulele for Adults
We love adults at The Music Connection because they have a genuine desire to learn to play the ukulele. From beginners to advanced, we can teach the skills and techniques required to learn music from Billy Joel. The Beatles. Elton John. Chopin. Movie and show tunes. We know you want to play music that you know and love, and we are here to help you! Whatever you want to learn, and no matter how busy you are, we will help you get to where you want to be in an encouraging and patient environment.

I took voice lessons here with Bethany as did my 13 year old son. It’s not easy to teach an adult and a teenager but, somehow she did it! It was a great experience. We both loved it here. My son would beg me to take him each week! Very highly recommend it here for any type of music instruction.
They were always punctual, polite and reasonably priced here. 🙂

We could not be happier with the music instruction our kids get at the Music Connection. Bethany is an amazingly talented voice instructor but she is also a fabulous teacher. To watch her work with kids…magic! Nat is a patient clarinet instructor to our young child that amazingly has taken to learning this instrument along with a bit of piano too. He inspired her so much that she brought him in for show and tell! (the 4/5 star is only because the space itself could use some fixing up but the Bethany and Nat deserve 5/5 stars and more!!)
